There were conflicting reports yesterday about Yemen's Interior Minister, Ahmed al-Maisari and his stay in Cairo Egypt. Some reports claimed that he was not allowed to enter Egypt, while others claimed that Egyptian authorities gave him 48 hours to leave Egypt..
Today we got confirmation from a government source that Yemen's Interior Minister Ahmed al-Maisari is not welcome in Egypt, and Egypt has refused to allow al-Maisari to reside there.
The source also said that Minister Ahmed al-Maisari is looking to relocate to the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, or Istanbul Turkey.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry refused to answer any questions yesterday about the whereabouts of the minister.
President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi is expected to issue decrees to dismiss a number of ministers, including the minister of interior, transportation, and defense.
